1. The service

This service produces a site-specific Energy Statement ("the report") for development sites in the UK, generated from the details you provide and from official open datasets (including national solar and energy datasets) retrieved at the time your report is created. A complete watermarked draft is provided free of charge; the final, full-resolution report is supplied on payment of the fee shown at the download step.

2. Your responsibilities

• You must provide accurate information — in particular the full site address, the description of the development and the traffic/energy details. The report is generated from what you enter.
• You are responsible for confirming with your local planning authority that a report of this scope satisfies their validation requirements for your particular application.

3. Basis and scope of the report

• The report is a desk-based assessment using national open datasets as published at the date of access (each dataset and access date is listed inside the report). Datasets are maintained by their publishers and change over time.
• The report is suitable for householder, minor and medium-scale applications. It does not include dispersion modelling (e.g. ADMS), on-site monitoring surveys or laboratory analysis; where such matters are referenced they are expressed as commitments to be carried out at the appropriate later stage.
• The report addresses energy and carbon matters only.

4. Licence

On payment, you receive a licence to use the final report in support of planning matters for the site named in it, including submission to the local planning authority and sharing with your professional advisers. The report may not be resold, adapted for other sites, or used as a template for other documents.

5. Payment

Payment is taken by card through Stripe at the price displayed at the download step. If your report is rejected by the local planning authority, send us the comments received from planning together with your report and we will amend the report or provide a full refund — see the Refund Policy.

6. No grant of permission

The report supports a planning application; it does not guarantee validation, a favourable officer recommendation, or the grant of planning permission, which remain matters for the local planning authority.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability arising from or in connection with a report is limited to the fee paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Public datasets are used as published; we are not responsible for errors within them.

8. Privacy

Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect. We may update these terms from time to time; the version published at the time of your purchase applies.
